- Furniture, lighting , signs and prefabricated buildings: $7,339,376,000 (2%)
- Iron or steel articles: $5,352,886,000 (1.4%)
- Vegetables: $5,012,523,000 (1.4%)
Among North American economies, Mexico is known for its lower labor costs. This may explain in part the concentration in export products that rely on volume assembly processes or are agriculture-based.
Mexico’s unemployment rate was 5% in 2012.
