Free Daily Planner Template & Printable PDFs
Plan a realistic day with an undated daily planner. Download blank A4 or US Letter PDFs, explore a filled workday, or open the AFFiNE template.
A daily planner template puts your top three outcomes, schedule, tasks, notes, and end-of-day review on one page. Use this undated day planner as a daily agenda for work or study: download a blank A4 or US Letter PDF, inspect a filled example, or open the existing AFFiNE template. Leave room for changes instead of filling every hour.

The PDFs are ready to print or annotate; they are not fillable PDF forms. For an editable planner page, use Use this template above to open the existing AFFiNE version. The printable layout follows its sections; the page and PDF are separate files.
| Section | Write this | Decision it supports |
|---|---|---|
| Date and top three priorities | Today's date and up to three outcomes that matter most | What deserves protected time even if routine work expands |
| Daily schedule | Time range, task or activity, priority, and status | Where fixed meetings, focus blocks, breaks, and buffer fit |
| Daily task list | Task, deadline, priority, and status | What is due today, done, still in progress, or moved |
| Quick reminders and notes | Context, links, or a deadline reminder | What you need beside the schedule |
| End of day reflection | What went well, what to improve, and tomorrow's focus | What to carry forward instead of silently dropping it |
| Daily habit tracker | Habit and yes/no completion | A small routine you want to notice |
Your top three are outcomes to protect, not a second copy of every task. Ordinary tasks still belong in the task list. In the example below, sending the client proposal is a priority with an 11:00 AM deadline; filing meeting notes is a routine task. A priority can remain unfinished: record what happened and move the next action deliberately.
Illustrative example: the client, proposal, team, and appointments below are fictional. The day begins at 8:30 AM. A proposal is due at 11:00 AM, so the planner protects a 9:00–10:30 writing block and a 10:30–11:00 buffer to check and send it. The schedule includes a noon lunch and a 2:30–3:00 open buffer; it does not treat every minute as available work.
| Time | Activity | Priority | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8:30–9:00 | Plan and check fixed meetings | Medium | Complete |
| 9:00–10:30 | Draft client proposal | High | Complete |
| 10:30–11:00 | Buffer; send proposal by 11:00 | High | Complete |
| 11:00–12:00 | Review product spec with team | High | Complete |
| 12:00–1:00 | Lunch | — | Complete |
| 1:00–2:30 | Demo preparation | Medium | In progress |
| 2:30–3:00 | Open buffer for urgent requests | — | Open |
| 3:00–4:30 | Admin and follow-ups | Low | In progress |
The task list marks Prepare demo outline as Moved to tomorrow, rather than pretending it was completed. The reflection sets tomorrow's 9:00 AM focus block for that outline. Download the filled A4 PDF or filled US Letter PDF to see the task statuses, notes, reflection, and habits together on the page.
For a student day, replace client work with classes, study blocks, and an assignment deadline; keep travel or transition time between fixed commitments. For a workday, put meetings and deadlines in first, then protect one or two focus blocks. If an interruption arrives, update the remaining schedule and move lower-priority work. This planner is a manual planning page; it does not automatically rearrange blocks or sync them with a calendar.
If you need a broader week view, choose a weekly schedule and to-do list template. If you need a more granular day-by-hour layout, compare the hourly planner. This page is for filling one day, not choosing among every planner type.
Yes. Both blank PDFs leave the date and all entries open, so you can print one for any day. The filled files use a fictional Tuesday only to demonstrate how a completed page looks.
Download the blank PDF for your paper size: A4 or US Letter. In the print dialog, choose the matching paper size and print at 100% or actual size. Each download is one page. The PDFs are static, so write on the printout or annotate it in a PDF app.
Use the open buffer first. If that is not enough, move or shorten a lower-priority block, update its status in the task list, and assign the unfinished next action to a later time or tomorrow. The schedule is a plan you revise manually, not an automatic rescheduler.

The PDF is a fixed one-page print layout with the same core sections. The existing AFFiNE template is an editable page with priority items and tables for schedule, tasks, and habits. Changes to one file do not update the other, and no calendar synchronization is included.
