I recently acquired an itch for designing birthday cards for friends, and I downloaded canva just for that. First I only sent out digital cards but now I’ve ordered some prints and all I can say is that they’re absolutely amazing. The quality is fantastic and you get exactly what you designed. Now I mail these cards to my friends and it’s been so fun. Even without a subscription you have access to so many templates and designs, you can totally let your creativity run wild. I’m not a huge fan of the AI tools, but you can avoid using them. Also, for every order a tree gets planted, so you additionally feel like you’re helping the environment indirectly :)

I’ve been using the Canva app for over two years and Canva premium for over a year and I must say I love it. Graphics are easy to make and edit. Photos are great quality. Even the free library of photos is awesome and the premium photos are even more professional. I love that the app is so easy to use, once you get the hang of it. (It’s easier on the app than in browser, so if you’re not using it on your phone or tablet, you’re missing out.) There are a few things that could be improved. When I am using the app, I sometimes need to do something and wish there was a feature for it, such as blurring parts of a photo. All in all, I think this is the best social media graphic designing app for those who are not skilled in designing software like photoshop.
