Assemble your decks and prepare for superpowered card battles: Marvel SNAP features a cast of all-stars in an epic card game that will test your wits, and your favourite heroes, in rapid matches. The fast-paced gameplay and huge roster of collectible card variants keep things action-packed and fun. In the words of Captain America, we can do this all day!
Why it’s popular
Thanks to the abundance of card combinations, and locations adding new rules and abilities to each match, no two matches are ever the same. And with each one lasting only a few minutes, Marvel SNAP offers an exciting way to fill spare slivers of time when you’re on the go.
New to the Marvelverse or consider yourself a superfan? Either way, you’ll find plenty of heroes (and anti-heroes) you’ll want to add to your card collection here. Avengers and Mutants, classic characters and rising stars – they’re all represented on beautifully illustrated cards.

Getting started
The one and only Nick Fury will guide you through your first couple of matches. As always, he has a card or two up his sleeve – but this time, they’re for your first deck.
You and an opponent take turns playing cards at one of three locations, which could be anything from the Avengers Compound to the Quantum Realm. Each card features a Marvel legend who adds power to the location it’s placed in, and some cards have special abilities: Iron Man, for example, will double your power at a location. At the end of the match, whoever has the most power at a location wins it – you need two of the three locations to win the match.

Learning to play is pretty straightforward, but mastering the tactical elements is what makes Marvel SNAP so compelling. You have limited energy to play cards in each round, and high-power cards require more energy, so how you play and build your decks is key.
Do you stick to balanced decks that work across low- and high-energy rounds? Stack a deck with high-power cards, such as Magneto and Hulk, then wait for the perfect moment to smash the opposition? Or launch a relentless attack of low-power cards, such as Deadpool and Black Widow, with abilities that sting? It’s entirely up to you.
Did you know?
The game will let you know when it’s time to upgrade your cards, and it’s well worth doing – upgrading them makes the artwork truly pop. Plus, the more you upgrade, the more new cards you’ll unlock. There are lots of variants available for your favourite heroes and villains, including pixel art, anime and chibi.
Be sure not to miss the powerful and rare cards up for grabs in specially themed seasons and events, too. Collect points as you participate in these super-fun matches and unlock some epic Marvel stars to add to your decks.
