I’m honestly disappointed with Among Us. I was banned without being given any real evidence or a clear explanation of what I supposedly did wrong. If there was actually a problem with my behavior, why not give me a warning or at least explain what I did before banning me?Instead of improving the reporting and moderation system, it feels like players can get banned without understanding why. At the same time, expert lobbies are full of extremely inexperienced players, people who make the game frustrating instead of fun, and hackers/cheaters who can ruin entire games.Fix the actual problems with the game and make the banning system more transparent. Give players a clear reason when they are punished and deal with cheating properly. Banning people without evidence or an explanation doesn’t make the game better. It just makes players want to quit.I’ve played this game for a long time, and it’s frustrating to see it reach a point where loyal players feel like they aren’t being listened to. If you actually care about keeping your community, listen to player complaints, improve the moderation system, and make the game fair for everyone instead of making people feel like they can be punished for no clear reason. At this point, I’d rather move on to another game than keep playing one where I don’t feel respected as a player.Winning awards is great, but a game that receives that kind of recognition should also be held to a high standard when it comes to the actual player experience. Among Us has so much potential, but problems like hackers, unfair bans, poor moderation, and players ruining lobbies can make people not want to play anymore. If you’re going to celebrate awards and the quality of the game, then the same level of effort should go into fixing the problems that players deal with every day. A game deserves its reputation because of how well it treats and protects its community, not just because of the awards it has won.
