  • Best app ever

    Run Oklahoma

If you do any sports, you need this app seriously you can make groups and invite people to your groups or people can find them online if you don’t have them privately, and it really goes for any sport we can talk to people share your workouts share pictures and connect to Apple Watch and your runs on smart Apple and Apple Watch works and it’s honestly the best app I could’ve had it for sure a five star this is my favorite. I own.

  • Bike/run terrible defaults

    Luisf765

This used to work way better, but in the past few months, the app decided to get “smart” about picking the activity type, and always gets it wrong. Please do whatever you were doing before, both for tracked and manual activities.Other than that, the app is essential. One other more minor issue: very short runs or rides should be private by default. Don’t want my rides to the grocery store public. I always have to manually set them to private.

  • Excellent Info And Community

    Nybag

I find inspiration in seeing others’ workouts, appreciate all of the data provided and kept, and the ease with which I can track workouts. I would love for a roller skiing function to be added, and split notifications to be available for skiing like for running. Also, please add a skijoring category. Thank you for this excellent platform with just the right amount of socials and tracking.

  • New Photo Gallery Needs Some Work

    Dr Homer

I’ve been using Strava for a while and love the community, but the new profile photo gallery needs to bring back a feature that was previously available. Clicking a photo in a gallery no longer lets you open the associated activity. It would be a huge quality-of-life improvement to tap a photo and jump directly to the run or ride, rather than scrolling through months of past activities to find it.

  • Got it for the tracking, kept it for the friends

    Rhino Design

Strava provides great data and analytics for beginners and experts, alike. It’s helped me prepare for my first ever 10K race and is helping me prepare for my first half-marathon. Between tracking my progress and encouraging me through my PRs, I continue to grow in my capacities. On top of all that, my friends and I are able to keep up with each other and congratulate and encourage each other through our activity feeds.

  • Great tracker to keep me motivated

    North Cascades

Love the app in general and like that I can trace back my steps and see my progress. Not thrilled with the app update though - too much animation resulting in additional wait time to see my results. All these seconds add up over time and creates screen fatigue. Also when I upload my activities, it seems to take a while before I can see it on the feed. The previous version worked just fine. Why update to a more inferior version? :(

  • canoeing with strava…

…in a labyrinth of 12-14 foot bullrushes; by checking strava map i was able to confirm route out — maybe not a lifesaver, but i am so very happy i had it! ®️🅰️Ⓜ️2026▶️ Through the years i have come to appreciate Strava more than before▶️the mapping is terrific when traveling & w/o in unfamiliar areas (AND has been a LIFESAVER - see earlier review). Of course, it really motivates me to see what my peers are doing - and when! THANKS! ®️🅰️Ⓜ️

I use Strava as not only a way to track my workouts but as a way to connect with other athletes. Strava works great with my Garmin Forerunner and I love how it syncs. It can be a bit of a pain to sync it when it’s unsynced but it’s a great app overall. Many will say it’s a paywall to get all of the good stuff. But I say that you don’t need all of the crazy details, just get the basics down and then you’ll be fine.

  • More than a fitness tracking app!

    Leticia Calonge

Strava has been a major part of my fitness journey. Not only does it help me track my activities, analyze data, and spot trends, but it has also helped me build a community. Through Strava, I stay connected with people I’ve met on rides, keep in touch with old friends, and find daily inspiration from athletes and adventurers around the world.

  • The best value in endurance sports

    Chiztopher

I design my routes, analyze my performances, journal how I’m feeling, find new trails, and keep up with my athlete friends all on Strava. It simply does so many things and many of them better than other apps that are priced similarly but for only one of these features. I’ll never understand people who complain about Strava when it offers such great value for athletes.
