It is so fun I learned a lot but I do not understand I’m still new and I want to practice more in a day but I have to wait till tomorrow and this is a very fun app. You should try it haven’t done math, music or chess. I am. I’m doing Spanish now. Little bit of Spanish, not too much about it. I started with the basics. I can add my family and friends. It’s very fun and whoever created. This needs more money.But at least you don’t have to pay for anything

okay, Duolingo is a very good app to learn languages, chess, music, and math, but you know how after every 5 mini lessons you do in one full lesson it gives u + energy, right? For example, you have 3 energy and you need to more. you get + 1. it’s really annoying to deal with the + energy thing when it barely gives u an amount of energy. I have 0 energy left and I get doggone 4 plus. so, if you have either 12 below energy just be aware you might get a little tiny mark of energy

I loooooove this app!! It is amazing it makes learning so much easier, but……. I have one problem, adds, and energy. The energy takes forever to fully charge and then when I do a few lessons it runs out! The only way to fix that, is by buying the premium and that will cost over a hundred dollars per year. And the adds are annoying because they pop up after every lesson. But, you do learn a lot of new things, and I recommend it.

I love Duolingo! It’s only been two days and I’ve already learned soo much. It is a fast way to learn and it is fun. One problem, the battery thing is not good. It limits how much you learn and I keep being like two questions away from finishing a lesson and I have to erase all my progress because my battery ran out. That is my one complaint, but that is not bad enough to take away a star. But please get rid of the battery thing. Or update it so it dose not erase my progress. Thanks!

I was looking for something productive to do on my phone that was still fun, and Duolingo was the perfect solution. I am learning Latin, and only started 3 weeks ago and am already progressing quickly. Usually I don’t enjoy stuff like this, but Duolingo makes learning fun and easy. I only spend 5 minutes a day, and have already learned over 50 words, and can read and write Latin easily. Again, I have only had it for less than one month. I strongly recommend this app.

I started with other language learning apps and they started slow and IMMEDIATELY went too deep, too quickly and I got lost…then I tried Duolingo. Instead of making you jump “leaps and bounds”, it felt more like walking up a flight of steps - one by one, slow and steady and a lil over a month laterI was speaking Japanese on a very basic level. I highly recommend Duolingo and to spend at the very least 15 minutes everyday - it’s very effective!

If I had Duolingo back in High School when I was learning Spanish and in Undergrad when I took French I’d probably be fluent but I’m glad I’ve had it for all these years and finally bought the super plan! Definitely still need to practice conversations but I’m definitely more confident in attempting to speak the languages I’m learning than before!! Definitely purchase if you have children and they’re learning another language—start early!!

I will say I would probably be a lot farther ahead and much more confident if I dedicated more time but I am finally able to understand at the very least what my Spanish speaking customers are looking for when they ask thanks to Duolingo. Actually was able to help a customer find milk for her baby it may not seem like much to everyone but being able to help her without making confused faces and pulling out my phone meant a lot to me.

Been using this app for a couple years now, and a couple of things I noticed is that they keep throwing words that I don’t know I’m trying to learn Spanish in without actually bringing them up and me knowing what the meanings of them are so it makes it a little bit more difficult to learn also clearly stating the translations of each word more would be helpful throughout the learning process, but thank you for your application. I love it.

Ok so this app is great . I am learning Portuguese and it is mid if you don’t have pro or super family plan which is the one I have if you don’t have pro it makes it harder to learn cuz after every lesson you get a superrrr long ad about how you should get pro also when I didn’t have pro it kept glitching and I had to quit the lesson multiple times and it happened when I already answered like 4 question then I ran out of energy and lost my streak so that sucked
