This has become an impossible game to play. I have always loved it, and have played it for as long as it’s been out. But now the developers have added so much, that the prize is no longer work. I can’t count the number of ads. I have watched only to have it tell me there’s a connection problem. And then I don’t get the reward. I have reset, I have bought a new router, I have done everything I can to make sure that it’s all connected. But none of the other games I play have this problem. So I am at the point I am probably just going to delete it from my device. Also, the developers put that weird thing at the bottom left corner, which is the icon for whichever bird is up, and it’s exactly where I rest my hand in between plays so it stops all action. I don’t know why that’s there.
Another downgrade

ETA Now levels show more than four birds waiting to be launched but something happens and birds five and six do not get on the slingshot. There is no explanation for how to activate the last couple of birds, like what to aim for that activates them. This is lame--it's not a challenge if you don't make it clear what the objective is supposed to be. I guess I'll ignore these levels. Hope this isn't the plan for the future. ONCE AGAIN, if players aren't playing, they are not watching the ads. Decide what you want.... I will not play the tournament just to unlock levels. And remember, when not playing, am not watching ads. Which do you prefer, no players and no ad watching, or players watching the ads? ETA: Now will not load even after a hard restart. Also don't appreciate sponsorship from Russian ops site 5 Minute Crafts, don't need to learn to make cardboard storage units and glue gun coasters to use in substandard Soviet-era housing from their mind-rotting and time-wasting videos. Update has NOT restored the old Star Cup--no thanks. If you want users to keep playing the game and WATCHING THOSE ALL-IMPORTANT ADS, you might consider restoring the old Star Cup style of play. Because if we're not playing, we are not watching the ads...get it? This new "Star Cup" with rankings where you lose points is the straw. ETA: Losing star points still a function of the Star Cup, so I'm not going to play anymore, having lost over 30 points apparently just by opening the Star Cup to see if those changes were still in effect.
A total rip off

I downloaded angry bird friends I hate to say this but ROVIO is ripping people off with having gamers spend their money on getting power ups to buy slingshots and coins It's such a shame on the piggy towers it’s been the same levels over that past 12 years. When you uninstall the game and you start from the beginning just after you have done the tournament the exploding pigs are there but does Rovio keep them later on in the tournaments of course not it’s only used in the star cup tournament. You get to level 107 floor 36 on piggie tower you try to destroy most of the structure BUT of course ROVIO isn't satisfied with the score you get after completing the level when they want you to use almost half your power ups and then spend more of your birds coins to buy more power ups. What a RIP OFF!!!! Also I do think the tournament is RIGGED and so is the piggies towers as well!!! Plus you can't even get past floor 36 there's a cloud right above it. What's worse is there is ads on this game. Plus everytime you delete the angry birds friends app it’s the same OLD levels on the piggy towers. It has not been updated at all. It’s time for a serious upgrade on the piggy towers.

Peg1970, it's evident that your experience hasn't met your expectations, particularly with the power-ups and the repetitive levels in the piggy towers. Many players express similar concerns about game balance and progression challenges. Your insights are important to us, and we want you to know that we take them seriously. While we can't address specific issues directly, we hope you find enjoyment in other aspects of the game. Wishing you better gaming experiences ahead! - The ABF Team
Game glitch
jacks1315
While playing BLUES TOWER and playing level 299, right before I would have played one more level for 600 coins, the game glitched on me and I screen recorded it going in and out but not closing the game hoping it would figure itself out, then finally had to shut down. I lost my place after weeks of not spending money to finally get to the next save level, I had to close out and it bounced me back 13 levels. Even if I did poorly in those levels, I had 414 coins that would have helped me through. Instead the game glitched and dropped me down to level 286 and made me lose 600 coins. I have played this game for far too long for this to happen. Too many times this game has glitched in certain ways that has made me lose levels but not make me miss out on 600 coins and anyone knows that playing this, 600 extra coins can get you a long way. After having this app since 2015, almost 10 years, it’s time for me to quit and say goodbye. Game has been going on for far too long to continue to have portal glitches or game glitches that knock you down from losing slightly bigger pots of coins. Too many user to have so many problems the way you do. This isn’t to deter anyone from playing because it’s a great game. Just tired of the issues.

Hi jacks1315, Encountering glitches, especially during such a crucial moment in your gameplay, can be incredibly disheartening. Losing your progress and coins after all the effort you've put in since 2015 is understandably upsetting. Your feedback about these recurring issues is invaluable, and we’ve escalated this internally to help improve the game.
