Outernet is creating a new type of internet use, in which our phones serve as a map of IRL exploration that gets us outside, instead of keeping us stuck scrolling indoors. Outernet helps you save and organize the places/events you want to check out, so it’s easy to actually go! You can share any place/event to Outernet (via social media links, website URLs, screenshots, or pictures), and we’ll do the research, summarize what you need to know, and organize your plans so it’s easy to actually go. And as you complete your saved adventures, you collect stamps! When you’re on the Outernet, you can: - Actually remember to check out that cool pop-up, arts festival, woodworking class, etc. - Create a collection of trinket box locations or top coffee shops in your city, then check each off as you explore it - Plan date nights that’ll blow your partner’s socks clean off - Organize family days that both the kiddos and adults enjoy - Easily create itineraries for your vacations (both in the books and aspirational) - And most of all, spend more time outside doing things, instead of just being online watching them! This is only the beginning of Outernet reshaping how we use the internet, and we’d love to have you join us on our adventure. We’ll cya outside! Best way to keep track of all the places you want to go

This app is actually phenomenal. I used to save or screenshot so many places only to forget and never go to them, but with outernet, now they’re on my map, and I have details and information about them that I wouldn’t have otherwise and I can actually go and enjoy, and not only that, if I’m traveling, this app can help me navigate the most efficient path to all of the places I want to see or go to. I’ve been using the app for a number of weeks now and am thoroughly enjoying collecting places to go. Gone are the days of collecting thousands of videos and screenshots only to never look at them again. I cannot recommend this app enough!

Sorry, I really like this app idea and wish I was saying something more positive. This is just the kind of thing that would really help me, to build a clear collection of experiences I want to have in one place, sorted by type, time, location (address and map!). It could be really good and I’m happy to edit my review whenever it is. So far, though, I’ve run into too many issues. I’ve had bad extractions that get times and descriptions wrong, I’ve been unable to report that bad extraction from within the app, saved events have failed to appear in the list, I’ve been unable to edit or delete bad saves, and, lastly, a feature complaint instead of a bug complaint: I don’t believe that any part of editing a save should be locked behind a paid tier. Aside from that, I support the idea and wish the developers success. I wish it worked!

Hi! You actually can report bad extractions, tap the three dots in the top left of a save, then "report bad extract." You can follow the same flow to edit and delete saves. If your events aren't showing up in the app, feel free to message us through the app or reach out at support@outernetexplorer.com, they could be showing up in your "past" section, or categorized as a place instead (which you can edit to change). As for save customization being part of the Explorer's Club, unfortunately each save does have data and processing costs we need to cover. We'd really like to keep the app free, but we do have to offset our costs so the app can continue to run. We're very open to feedback, we're early in our journey and want to make this app better as we continue to grow, please reach out to us at support@outernetexplorer.com to share how we can improve!

So easy to save ideas of where to go and what to do from across multiple platforms! I use it locally and when I travel. So easy to just open it up and get the info I need, wherever I’m at in the world. Saving ideas, off of TikTok especially, can get overwhelming since it’s just an info dump, but outernet collects it all with just the click of a button, and I don’t have to think about it again until I want it. The staff are super helpful with any questions or suggestions. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a way to save ideas for experiences with family and friends.

I really like this all and I really want to give it a 5 star, but it’s hard for me to do so because you can only save like 5 things a day. Even if you pay, you only can save 20 a day. You may be wondering “wow, why are you saving that many tiktoks??”. I want to transfer all of the tiktoks from my travel folder into this app so I can see them better, but it is going to take me forever to do so. I really do like this app though in it giving you all of the info straight from the tiktok. Everything else is great, but my only request is even if it’s behind a paywall, I would love to have a feauture to save more/unlimited places! Especially if you might be planning a trip that could be helpful.

Hi Jessica, I'm very sorry to hear you're frustrated with the daily import limit. Unfortunately each import does have real data and processing costs we need to cover, so we need to strike a balance in what we can offer so the app can afford to keep running. We try to make the daily limit as generous as we can! We also want to encourage users to only save things they're really excited about, so the app doesn't feel cluttered and overwhelming, recreating the problem. Unlimited imports, even if we could afford them, would encourage saving everything, inspiring analysis paralysis instead of excitement, and would also encourage more scrolling instead of nudging people to go out and explore their saves. We've very open to feedback, please reach out to us at founders@outernetexplorer.com.

Collections just got even better with filters! And as usual, we’ve squashed some bugs and made things a little faster!
