OCTOBER 2026: Great first impression. So many abilities to unlock. Music is groovy. Only 15 minutes in so take this with a grain of salt. Playing on Mac with an Xbox controller. Out of the box controller support. Nice to have mouse & keyboard or controller options. Looking forward to a deeper session and trying out what appears to be a multiplayer mode as well

First off I’ll say that I do enjoy this game. But the more I play it the more obvious it is that there are some pretty basic game mechanics this game lacks. When there are survivors to rescue, it seems obvious that there should be some indicator of how many there are. When defending an area, it should be made clear that there are two separate time limits. The level difficulties also don’t really seem to correspond to anything, as I have had tremendous difficulty on a level 2, while all other level 2s are fairly easy, so I don’t think it’s just a skill issue. And what really makes the game tedious is the 1980s style upgrade system. In order to upgrade something you must start in the equipment menu. But if you want to change the item you upgrade, you must go back to the equipment menu. If you have any sorting applied, it does not remain in place when you switch in and out of the upgrade menu. All this takes what could be a simple process and makes it at least three times longer. And speaking of upgrades, I keep picking up item specific upgrades and have no idea how to use them. It seems to be different than the general “exp” items used for upgrades, but they don’t appear anywhere. You also get them for dismantling items, but again, where do they go and how do you use them? There are actually quite a few things that lack explanation in this game, although I can’t think of them all off the top of my head. But this seems like enough issues to start resolving as it is.

I awaited this game when I saw the announcements and each day was grueling. But when it finally came out, especially on the computer the first boss seems hard to me maybe you could not make the zombies surround Kunio-kun? Overall as of now 4-5 stars and please add more parts other than what’s available. Thanks!

Very fun game, enjoying it so far! Perhaps, one suggestion, you all should have some sort of mode where it’s similar to COD Zombies, where you play rounds and continuous rounds where it gets harder and harder and add a total points system so there can be leaderboards as well!
