Quick tip: To personalize the content you see in your feed, head to Settings > Feed settings in your profile to follow and unfollow topics corresponding to your stage of womanhood. In case there are subjects you’d rather not talk about or see others talking about, Peanut asks users to mark sensitive or potentially triggering content so that it’s hidden unless you tap to see it.

Meet the creator: Founder Michelle Kennedy came up with the idea for Peanut in 2014 when she was expecting her first child and craving connection with other moms. “What started as a place to find mom friends has evolved so much, and now we’re just laser-focused on building this amazing app to make women’s lives better,” Kennedy says. “It’s something we’re so proud of.”
