I consult with executives of large organisations to use AI and Perplexity is a great tool overall, but there are two big problems that are really annoying, the first one is that the advanced voice assistant will change chat every time that you stop using it instead of continuing with text. The second one is that voice mode the context window is extremely short and after two minutes of talking, it forgets what we discussed two minutes before

This app and AI tool is one of the best I have tried. It combines the popular language models with web access and mostly gives me accurate responses that I don’t always find elsewhere. I like the interface, its easy to use and you can organise your chats in different threads. The frustrating problem I have is “thread clutter”. Its difficult to delete threads. The dustbin icon keeps on randomly disappearing, so I am unable to delete threads that I want to. The ability to remove chats with ease needs to still be implemented. I would prefer a swipe left or right option on the thread previews to delete them. It would also be good if you could switch between Claude 2 or GPT within a thread. Other than that, an app with much potential and promise. Well done!

Perplexity continues to blow my mind in helping to make my search experience focused because there is no advertising clutter, it’s focused on what I am looking for and when I am reading through what it has helped me search for and answer I can focus on the finds, click on the sources of my choice and move on. Google is outdated, old school, noisy, cluttered, not nearly as helpful. Appreciate the team behind Perplexity, love what you have created.
