Youngsang Cho was born in 1965 in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. He graduated from Suwon High School and the Department of Chemistry at Ajou University, earned a Master's degree in Horticultural Science from Chungnam National University, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Biology from Jeonbuk National University. After completing his service in the 706 Special Assault Regiment, he began farming in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do in 1991, where he learned organic farming techniques covering livestock and a wide range of crops from his father, Hankyu Cho, the founder of Korean Natural Farming (KNF). He went on to establish JADAM (People Who Resemble Nature), dedicating himself to the spread of organic agriculture. By gathering the wisdom of master farmers from across Korea and conducting extensive research, he established a comprehensive organic farming system grounded in Ultra-Low-Cost principles. He independently developed numerous core technologies for the self-manufacturing of natural pesticides, and under his conviction that farmers must hold sovereignty over agricultural technology, he has made all of his methods freely available to the public. His regular natural pesticide workshops are the culmination of his relentless dedication to Ultra-Low-Cost farming. For more information, visit en.jadam.kr
