can you post a GS Dump of the issue? pretty sure of what it is, but it's easier to fix if it's reproducible :)
Hi guys, I was testing the new nightly with the fix implemented and realized it only fixes the issue when the internal resolution is an odd number, x3, x5, x7. x2 is still broken, just like x4 and x6.
Can you provide another dump which shows that? because it looks fine here in every resolution with the dump you provided, as do my other three dumps

Sure here it is! there are 2 gs dumps, one with the bug x2 resolution and one with the fix x3 resolution, hope it helps
okay this is related to the download, can you provide a savestate please, cos I can't debug this (the effect is baked in to the GS dump due it being a download to the EE then reupload), all I could fix was the weird interlacing effect.

okay I can see it when moving about, I'll have a play with it
So I think this problem is on the other end, the actual download. Doing a compare of the read depth at x1 vs x2, you can see from this XOR they are quite, quite different
However if I enable Bilinear for the downscale copy it does look better, but there is still a line at the back, as you can see here
But I don't think that's the solution, I think this is just forcing it to capture the correct data. Conversely I don't know what the solution is right now since I don't 100% know what's causing the difference, which is quite drastic in the lower bits, not just off by 1 problems.

Describe the Bug
There's a lighting issue in the floor when the light comes from the half open doors when not using native resolution. Around 0:25 sec into the video I switch to native resolution.
