[BUG]: Roman Numerals Out of Order #14927

Description

@BBU3741

Describe the Bug

I'll be honest here, this isn't really a massive or deal-breaking bug, but I figured I'd at least put this out there.

Image

I've put the Xenosaga trilogy here as an example. Instead of being ordered like I-II-III, the UI instead wants to place II after III, becoming I-III-II.

Image

I've replicated this process here, where I renamed the Armored Core 3rd gen games by adding a roman numeral based on their release order. It should be I-II-III-IV, but the same problem as above occurred, resulting in I-III-II-IV.

At the end of the day, this is a low priority issue, but I would like this bug to have a look whenever the dev team is able and willing to.

Reproduction Steps

Import multiple games titled with roman numerals or rename games with roman numerals that include or go beyond III

Expected Behavior

From left to right, it should be ordered properly: I-II-III-IV-V, and so on and so forth.

It's because the beginning of the name of Episode 3 starts differently, it's nothing to do with your roman numerals.

Ah, crap, you're right! Doesn't really explain the Armored Core 3 part tho.

You're right, I can't explain those at first glance :P

I renamed the games, and I'm still having the I-III-II problem. So it's still likely a bug. I'm not a programmer tho, feel free to tell me if I'm wrong.

Looks like sorting ignores non-alphabetical characters?
    For example ("Xenosaga Episode"):

    IDer
    IIJenseits
    IIIAlso

Add some sort names to the GameDB that sort them into the right order.

(For an example on how to do this, look at how #14861 handles the pop'n music series, which would otherwise sort entries 10+ between 1 and 2, and Kessen II, which uses roman numerals.)

I'm sorry I don't quite know this, how would I go about doing that?
