Blacksmith

Oswald Anders the Blacksmith is one of the many unlockable Craftspeople in Enshrouded. From tough Armor Sets that will get you through the first hours of the game to upgraded tools, the Blacksmith is there to make sure you have the best equipment possible. The Blacksmith is the first survivor you'll unlock during the Find the Sleeping Survivor quest assigned to you by the Flame. You can find the Blacksmith's Ancient Vault just northwest of your first base. Once he's awakened, use the Summoning Staff to place him in your base. To unlock all of his crafting capabilities, you'll need to provide him with a basic bed and shelter.

Oswald Anders, the Blacksmith, will be with you from the very start of the game and is not only useful for providing his crafting recipes but also for ensuring the recipes of other Craftspeople can be built. One of the things you'll be getting from him often is Nails, and these will be used to craft everything from storage options to decorations.

He's also great for getting you set up for a journey full of fighting from the get-go with one of the best early-game armor sets in his repertoire.

His workshops are some of the most used for creating resources. Get used to depositing Metal Scraps in the Forge to turn into Metal Sheets, and use the Smelter to upgrade even your Pickaxe and Axes into sturdier stuff.
