Enshrouded is full of incredibly strong enemies whose sole purpose is to hinder you on your quest and take you down. Thankfully, though, it is also chock-full of epic legendary weapons and armor to make sure you're even stronger than your opponents.
Some legendary weapons are received as rewards for completing quests or finding certain chests hidden throughout the world, but most are random drops from gold and legendary chests. In this Enshrouded guide, we will show you exactly where you can find legendary weapons so you can go up against any foe you come across.

Guaranteed Legendary Drops
While most legendary weapons can be randomly found in chests, there are some special legendaries that you can find through specific means. These are usually found by defeating bosses or completing side quests. You can find a list of these specific legendaries below, along with instructions on how to collect them:

Jezmina's Apotheosis
Jezmina's Apotheosis is a possible loot drop for killing the Vukah Brawler. The Vukah Brawler is a huge, gorilla-like boss that mainly dishes out melee attacks. You can often find Vukah Brawlers near large Vukah camps with a wide, open area. He’s a huge creature and needs plenty of room to move around, so you won’t find him in any of the smaller Vukah camps that dot the map.
There is no guarantee that you will pick up Jezmina's Apotheosis when you defeat a Vukah Brawler, so you might have to tussle with a few of them before you pick up this legendary weapon. But keep trying, and you will get your hands on the legendary Jezmina's Apotheosis eventually!
Wailing Blade
The Wailing Blade is a legendary sword you can find in the Scavenger Stash, a small cave guarded by Scavengers in the Springlands region. You can find the cave lying to the west of the Springlands Ancient Spire.
The Scavenger Stash cave is guarded by three to five Scavengers, who can be difficult to take down in the early stages of your adventure when you will likely head out to collect this legendary weapon. But the mouth of the cave they are guarding is littered with traps, so use them to your advantage and lure the Scavengers into them to deal some extra damage.
Fell Commander Bow
The Fell Commander Bow is a legendary bow you can collect by defeating a Fell Thunderbrute boss on the Ancient Bridge. The Ancient Bridge is just west of the Pike.
Fell Thunderbrute is the first boss you will go up against in Enshrouded, but there are several more you can find throughout Embervale, and this one is particularly formidable. Keep an eye on your opponent, making sure to dodge any attacks and go in for a few swings yourself in between.
Shroud Weaver
The Shroud Weaver is a legendary staff you can find in the very bottom right corner of the map. To pick it up, fast-travel to the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire and fly towards the Sun Temple to the south. Keep heading east past the Sun Temple until you reach a mineshaft.
Turn north once you reach the mineshaft and approach the edge of the cliff. Look down and jump on a mycelium-covered platform just above the Shroud. Turn right, and you will see the Shroud Weaver chest on a wooden platform.
Best Legendary Chest Locations
Apart from the few guaranteed chest drops, all other legendary weapons can be found in gold or legendary chests hidden throughout Embervale. These chests are usually found in high-risk areas with dangerous enemies hanging around, so you will likely have to fight for the epic loot in these chests.
Chests respawn every time you reload your game in Enshrouded, so the best way to farm legendary weapons is to set up a Flame Altar somewhere near a good group of chests and farm them until your inventory is bursting with high-level items.

Some of the best gold and legendary chest locations to farm are as follows. Click the links below to see more information on each location:
Brittlebush
Brittlebush is a Scavenger encampment found in the Kindlewastes desert. You can reach it by heading northeast from the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire or southwest of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire.
There are at least multiple gold and silver chests there that can supply you with legendary weapons. There are two chests on the rooftops on the left side of the camp, two in the bottom right corner, one in a sarcophagus near the center of the camp, and another two in the top right corner. You can also get your hands on the Gloom Monarch armor set in Brittlebush.
Jasper Isles
Jasper Isles is a set of ruins found deep in the Shroud of Umber Hollow in the Nomad Highlands. Umber Hollow is a particularly vicious Shroud, full of high-level enemies and hard to escape when you run out of time. It is a high-risk-high-reward situation, though, as it is also a great location to find legendary weapons.
If you make your way to the west side of Umber Hollow and craft a Flame Altar on one of the great pillars that protrude from the Shroud, you will find yourself in a prime location to farm the legendary chest you will find by the bridge.
Head to the edge of your pillar and glide down into the Shroud. The closer you get to the Shroud, the more you will be able to see. Keep your eyes peeled for a bridge and glide down to the spot just below it. The bridge is built over a river of deadly lava, so be careful with your landing. You will die immediately if you land on the bright red glowing substance.
Once you open the chest and secure your loot, exit to the main menu and reload your game to end up right at the edge of Umber Hollow, ready for another run.
Ancient Spires
There are currently five Ancient Spires to unlock in Enshrouded, each of which unlocks more points of interest on your map and helps project you along your journey. Ancient Spires also serve another purpose, however, as they are an excellent source of high-level chests that can supply legendary weapons.
Ancient Spires contain a series of light platforming puzzles that you must complete to reach the top and unlock the fast-travel point. There are plenty of chests to uncover on the way up, so keep your eyes peeled for a chance to pick up some legendary weapons as you climb these towers.
Sun Temples
The Sun Temples are a group of ancient ruins in the Kindlewastes desert. They are always guarded by incredibly strong enemies, such as Scavengers, Scorpions, and Pterodactyls. They are also an incredible source of gold and legendary chests you can loot to get your hands on more legendary weapons.
There are four Sun Temples to explore in total, each of which contains at least a few golden and/or legendary chests for you to loot. Some do require lockpicks to open, so don't forget to stock up with some of those before heading in, as well as some potions and a couple of good weapons to help you take down the Scavengers waiting for you inside.
